What cheap hotels/Motels in Boston, Ma allows anyone age 18 and up to register a room?
Q. I'm asking this because in a few weeks I'm going to visit my girlfriend in Boston. And I'm from California, we've been together for 3 years now and she visited me last year at my house. But this time I'm going to Boston to visit her. I checked about 10-30 Hotels/Motels around the Boston area and none of them allowed people of my age (18) to register a room. I want the hotels to be close to my arrival at the Boston Greyhound station. Can anyone refer me to a hotel nearby? By the way my girlfriend is 17 will that affect us as well? We only need one night in the hotel. Because we're going camping the next day in New Jersey. Can anyone help me? I found one already lols!

A. It really is a hit or miss situation; some do and some don't. The hotel I work at does, but I'm not going to put where I work on Yahoo (I also doubt it would qualify as cheap on an 18-year-old's budget, and it's not particularly close to South Station, which is where I assume you'll be arriving). You'll just have to keep trying more places.

Are there any hotels/motels that 18+ can stay near Six Flags Great Adventure?
Q. I'm 18 years old and my friends and I just need a place to sleep for two nights when we go visit Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. All of the hotels that we've seen and called require that a 21 year old or older person is there to check-in. We don't plan on partying or ruining the room at all. Please provide specific hotels/motels or websites. Thanks.

A. Not sure where you are calling, but most motels and hotels do not require you to be 21 years old to check in. They do require that someone in your group have a major credit card. Call the hotel or motel that you wish to stay at, and book the room. Don't tell them the age of the people in your group. Go to the hotel or motel, have a good time at Six Flags. If you disclose that you are a "bunch of teens"/"young adults" they will come up with the 21 rule to keep you out of their establishment, especially during Spring Break, because they are trying to cut back on trouble makers. Legally, unless they are a casino, they can't keep you out if you are under 21 years old.
